Dear Leica Microsystems, Inc., thank you so very much for making your microscope crates out of the nicest plywood I have ever seen. Some Wasteful Scientists here in Boston were throwing it away, and I have resolved to turn it into a work table for myself. Also, I was initially confused by the symbols on the crate, but I now know they mean “drink wine while it is raining and play with pointy medieval weapons. Sincerely yours, &c., &c.
